Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Pelt is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has moderate length white hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady black eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Iados alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she has decided she is irredeemable
