History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: She got into the Shepherd business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
