History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting giants, the young Verna began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
