History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and balancing his hectic life and new slave trader responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cook for hire.

Motivation: Revenge.
