History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Grai and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. The war was a terrible time for her, and Burana does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
