History: Hlin was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Hlin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'9". She wears a tan tunic with pastel highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her silver hair is heavily combed to the left. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: This man stands a little under 6'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His fur is gray and very short. His eyes are green.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Art's homeland. Art decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire
