Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in the south to a Spy, Chaedi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Chaedi and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Forcas was born the youngest of three triplets. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Forcas and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His hair is short and black. His eyes are hazel and catlike.

Personality: Qualen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Qualen is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to unite with his sister

Description: An older man who is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, he is not a threatening figure. His scarlet crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His eyes are likewise gold.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
