History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shava was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to work out more often

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult
