History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.
Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Fortune-teller responsibilities is difficult; and many dire rats want her driven away

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. Balam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
