History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor she uses now. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a brown collared shirt and grey skirt. She accessorizes with a blue scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across her shirt. Her hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. His ears are large.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Ulfgar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ulfgar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ulfgar and his spouse have recently divorced.
