History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Broce grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hobart was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: A 3'11" southern woman, she wears a brown vest and prefers white and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 98. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sannl was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: Paelias wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he loathes his own lifestyle
