Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Knight arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Verna has worked very hard to control her curse. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
