History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Barbena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Kava has worked very hard to control her curse. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Joan was taken on many hunting expeditions. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
