History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty blue coat over it. Her brown hair is matted, messy, and big. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are brown.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Shanairla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her childhood dream was to be a Bricklayer, but she was a colossal failure. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Five was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.
