History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When Raiann reached her early adolescence her Dragonborn mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is mildly Gnome supremacist, though he does not identify as such. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Qualen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Qualen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is her passion
