History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Raer grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Raer alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Carpenter for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Guard again.
