Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Mary lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has worked as a Knight like his father before him.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Detective; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing a long, blue, dusty cloak. Sporting a brown mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well
