History: Oriff was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A freak accident while working with her Animal Trainer mother left her crippled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor
