History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. After months of barely getting by, Peren managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
