Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tarak's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. A true patriot, Tarak would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tarak alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Bather does. He has golden hair. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Veit does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and sabotage a competitor

Description: She wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available she will default to her sickle. She is portly but not overly obese. Her silver hair is long and unkept. Her black eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Manea has worked very hard to control her curse. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and wishes to resurrect an old love
