History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Az-Bror was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Philomena took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland.
