History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Carter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult
