Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. The war was a terrible time for him, and Taklinn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Taklinn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Taklinn decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Hubert enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to raise his children well

Description: She wears dull black sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed bastard sword, just in case. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. Her white eyes peer out from beneath her deerstalker black hat.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Damaia embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Halfling compassion.
