When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His long black hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He is baby faced.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Cartwright who has hired him part-time. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Jabbie was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jabbie decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He is a Carpenter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was born in the south. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carpenter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
