History: He comes from a rich southern family. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She wears a small hat to hide her balding. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and she wants revenge against giants
