History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his mace. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oskar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Stylist. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break
