History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Born in the west to a Detective, Valida learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
