Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a halberd on her belt. She has wavy golden hair. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This western woman dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Werydd embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she would like to get married and retire

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She typically wears black cloth garments or leather armor. Her blue crest has been sun bleached extensively. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born in the north. Kava abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Being a Sailor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she's repulsed by the pc
