History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Howard reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. After a long history of fighting, Traki and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Mortician job and began her own company from there.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with white slacks. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has gray eyes and a white hat with a tan feather.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ootah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and to unite with her sister
