He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

Personality: She is a Locksmith first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
