History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Glim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to raise her children well
