History: Kellen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Synthrin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the west to a Layabout, Neega learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Layabout like her father before her.
