History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Oppleby has worked very hard to control his curse. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a Scribe, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
