History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Cask was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cask's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

His golden hair is long and unkept. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Gerard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He became a Layabout soon after.
