History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. A gifted student he started as a Carpenter, but he got bored and became a Guard. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. Her hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs
