Her father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Oda was heart-stricken from the event, and her mother started working long hours to provde for them. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Keyleth was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Keyleth's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his youth he was a Knight, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she desires power and/or immortality
