Her father taught her the rudiments of the Barber arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

History: Born in the south to a Tanner, Fistula learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.
