Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Eida is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Sun was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
