Personality: Shane speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Ruler but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Tiaathque is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Tiaathque learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Shepherd for the past few years.
