Description: 5'11" and muscular, this eastern man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fletcher, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a great chef.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Cloud and his spouse have recently divorced.
