Upon awakening, Elysande discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Elysande fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a Navigator, her father struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the north were limited. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Sariel grew up listening to her father's many stories. Sariel liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
