History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Pennie was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Pennie's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Animal Trainer profession.

History: Gifted from a young age, Maagog studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Dara was born with her father's beautiful face. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
