History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Uthemar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ahinar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Ahinar was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.
