History: Born in the east to a Layabout, Pearl learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and retire the richest man in the east

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his trident, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His ears are large.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
