History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hupe's homeland. Hupe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Quelenna has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
