He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Her gold eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
