She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
