History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nelkin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He comes from a rich western family. When Pígug reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she has a crush on the local adventurer
