History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born in a small desert village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and she desires power and/or immortality
