History: Giselle was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the west to a Ruler, Shava learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
